Code of Conduct
Rubin Observatory aims to be a welcoming environment to all. We are committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative environment, which welcomes passionate and thoughtful discussion and interaction, and supports our broad, diverse community. Harassment and unprofessional conduct (including the use of offensive language) of any kind is not permitted at any time.
Rubin Code of Conduct (CoC)
A new Rubin Professional Conduct Manual is currently in-development, and will include policies for the investigation and resolution of formal complaints.
Until then please refer to this interim CoC adapted from the Rubin Community Workshop 2024.

Communications
Applies to in-person communications and everyone using online tools such as Slack, Confluence, and the Community Forum.

Meetings
Applies to everyone participating in meetings, workshops, and conferences. Originally developed by Lucianne Walkowicz and Federica Bianco.

Endorsements
Rubin Observatory endorses the guidelines for professional behavior of the American Physical Society (APS), American Astronomical Society (AAS), and the Associated Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA).
