The Informatics and Statistics Science Collaboration (ISSC) provides a community of astro-focused data science experts for consultation/guidance, stimulates and guides new interdisciplinary research on methods/algorithms, and coordinates methodological developments across the LSST community, promoting synergy and reducing duplication of effort.
