Title: Early science updates and Q&A session
"Early science" is defined as any science enabled by Rubin for its community prior to the first annual data release, Data Release 1 (DR1), of the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST). The details regarding the data products, services, and timelines can be found in Rubin Tech Note 11 (rtn-011.lsst.io), which was recently updated in Apr 2026. This session is designed as a community Q&A, to help scientists and students understand the scope and timeline of the early science program, and how to make best use of it for their own science goals.
Advance questions are encouraged: Early Science Q&A: Advance Questions
